Brad Watts is in Atlanta Ga., for 10 days of further training toward being a conductor on a railroad train. Although he has already made some runs as conductor, the company still considers him a trainee.
We offer sympathy to the family of John Peek of the Locust Grove area, who passed away at home last week. He was a good man, well respected, and well liked by all who knew him. Special sympathy goes to his wife Mamie.

Our sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs. Lillian Derry McFalls who died last week after a long illness. She put up a good fight both physically and mentally. She worked puzzles, determined to keep "her mind sharp" and in this she was quite successful. Lillian's life was her home and family and she will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
