Jeffrey Lee Black, 42, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
A native of Garrard County, he was born Jan. 3, 1965, to Paul and Oneida Whittaker Black of Lancaster. He was a farmer, worked at Donnelly's, and was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
Other survivors include his wife, Kim Hendricks Black of Lancaster; a son, Hagen Ray Black of Lancaster, two daughters, Jamie (Phillip) Handley of Nicholasville and Haley LeeAnne Black of Lancaster; two sisters, Jennifer Grubbs and Janilynn (Mark) Henderson; two grandchildren, Trinity Asilynn Black and Dylan Hunter Hundley; and a step-grandson, Phillip Jordan Handley.
Funeral services were Sept. 8 at Ramsey Funeral Home in Lancater with Rev. Dwight Forderhase officiating. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
