Fire at People Helping People building

Winchester Fire-EMS firefighters Chris Crady, left, and acting Lt. Bryan Howard use a thermal imager to search for fire in the roof of the People Helping People building on Wainscott Avenue Monday morning. A roof cutting saw caught fire while workers with Roofs, Inc. of Winchester were removing an old section of the roofing for replacement. Workers with Roofs, Inc. were able to put out the fire before it spread to the building.
