Kiwanis walk with a child

Members of the Clark County Kiwanis Club and the Winchester Kiwanis Club took 91 elementary and middle school students shopping for school clothing Saturday morning at Wal-Mart as part of their annual Walk With a Child program. Helping two children select clothing are, from left, Donna Fuller with the Clark County Kiwanis Club; Jim McCarty, president of the Winchester Kiwanis Club; and April Seals, Wal-Mart assistant manager. The Clark County club contributed $2,500 toward the project, and the Winchester club contributed $3,500. The clubs spent about $65 per child for clothing.
