The annual Fall Festival at Pilot View School will be Friday at the school on Iron Works Road.

Members of the 1972 graduating class of George Rogers Clark High School had their 10-year reunion July 10 at the Winchester Country Club. Gary Bridgewater and June Willoughby Huber, class officers, served as masters of ceremonies.

The Winchester Fraternal Order of Firefighters this year will be picking up the tab for lodging in a local motel for families who are burned out of their homes.

Shannon Scott Johnson, 18, son of Robert Allen and Brenda Johnson, is currently participating in Marine aircraft mechanic training at Millington Air Base in Millington, Tenn.

Robert G. Strode has been named the winner of 20 tons of Aglime in the Boonesboro Quarry's Promotional Contest. Mark Mayer is sales representative for the quarry.

Congressman Larry J. Hopkins, R-Ky., announced that the full House Appropriations Committee on Tuesday recommended funding of $1.44 million for operation of the Kentucky River locks and dams for fiscal year 1983, which begins Oct. 1.
