JESSIE A. PALMER

Jessie A. Palmer, 90, widow of Arthur Palmer, died at 9:23 a.m. Monday at Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Estill County, she was the daughter of the late B.H. and Naoma Sams Allen. She was a retired beautician and an adult women's Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a graduate of Trapp High School and Kentucky Beauty College, and was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Edward Allen Palmer of Atlanta; a grandson, Dr. Christopher Stewart of Bossier City, La.; a sister, Grace Wood of Lexington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Pat Thomason of Lexington, James Allen, Gene Allen and Doyle Spry, all of Winchester, and Virgil Allen of Mount Sterling; and three special friends and caregivers, Jackie and Joe Eggen and Kim Daniels.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and her stepmother, Bertha Allen.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Scobee Funeral Home by Bro. Doyle Spry and Joe Eggen. Burial will be in the Log Lick Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Stewart, Jim Allen, Gene Allen, Virgil Allen, Hunter Lisle and Harvey Spry. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe and Jackie Eggen.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Log Lick Cemetery Trust Fund, c/o Myrtle Wills, 2510 Log Lick Road, Winchester, KY 40391.

KATHERINE S. MILLER

Katherine Shrout Miller, 72, of 2300 Ecton Road, wife of Robert Miller, died at 12:20 p.m. Monday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Monday on Lexington Road.

A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Reed Shrout. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Glenn Thorstad of Lexington; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike "B.T." and Geri Miller of Lexington and Mark Miller of Berea; three grandchildren, Amber Thorstad and Cody and Luke Miller, all of Lexington; a sister, Virginia Wills of Clark County; two nephews, Doug True of Woodford County and Danny True of Winchester; and several great- and great-great-nephews.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Scobee Funeral Home by Bishop Linton Wells and Sam Thomas. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Doug and Danny True, Keith Dorough and Carey Newman. Honorary pallbearer will be Ruby McIntosh.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today.

DONATHON WHITE

Graveside services for Edna Loraine Donathon White, 75, of 307 Hamilton St., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Evergreen Memory Garden in Paris by Bro. Ben Rake.

Mrs. White, widow of Casby White, died at 3 p.m. Monday at Clark Regional Medical Center.

There will be no visitation.

JUDITH D. CLARK

Judith Daleiden Clark, 69, wife of Roger Clark, formerly of Winchester, died Monday at the Fort Walton Beach., Fla., hospital.

A native of Rochester, Minn., she was the daughter of Edmund and Marcella Daleiden and the adopted daughter of Patricia Daleiden. While in Rochester, she enjoyed competitive ice skating and piano competition. She was a graduate of Lourdes High School and St. Theresa College in Winona, Minn., with a degree in dietetics. She moved with her family to Fort Walton Beach in 1982 and worked in the Women's, Infants' and Children's Department of the Okaloosa County Health Department, where she retired in July of 2001.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by an uncle, Gerald Daleiden of Northfield, IIl.; a stepson, Thomas G. Floyd Jr. and wife, Donna of Section, Ala.; a son, Michael D. Floyd and wife, Donna; and granddaughters, Kayla and Hannah of Alpharetta, Ga.; a daughter, Pamela N. Rivadeneira, and husband, Nelson, and grandson, Landyn of Coral Springs, Fla., and 33 cousins across the United States.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday at the Emeral Coast Funersl Home with the Rosary to be said at 6 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to The American Lung Association, the New Fisher House to be built at Eglin AFB or Children In Crisis Inc.

RICHARD S. HOOD

Donald Samuel Hood, 76, of Winchester, husband of Beatrice Hood, died Thursday at his home.

A native of Sparta, Ill., he was a retired truck driver and farmer.
