"Bat Mite" Michael Paul Patterson, 43, of McKinney, died Sunday, Sept. 23 at his residence.
A native of Lincoln County, he was born Tuesday, April 14, 1964 to Karen Austin Patterson of Eubank and the late Robert Patterson. He was a construction worker, loved woodworking, and was an avid Indian enthusiast.
Other survivors include a daughter, Catisha Patterson of McKinney; a sister, Paulette Gilpin of Eubank; the mother of his child, Teresa Murphy of McKinney; and a niece, Shayla Patterson.
Funeral services were Sept. 26 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hines officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Richard Adams, Mike Griffin, Kerry Hoskins, Greg Roberts, Steve Patterson, and Dean Coffey. Honorary pallbearer was "Red Dog" Wheeler.
