The Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation recently announced the itinerary for the 2007 Fall Farm Market Tour scheduled for Oct. 17.
Semi-annually, Farm Bureau sponsors a tour of retail farm markets for members of the Certified Roadside Farm Market Program and others interested in direct marketing.
The market tour provides producers an opportunity to discuss strategies and challenges of marketing to the public.
Tour participants will visit Wilson Landscape Nurseries in Frankfort, Ayres Family Orchard and Elk Creek Vineyards in Owenton and Gallrein Farms in Shelbyville.
Registration is $10, which includes transportation, snacks and lunch. Members of the program interested in participating will receive two complimentary registrations.
