Susan Ann Magruder Brashear, 46, of Stanford, died Sunday, Oct.14 at her residence.
A native of Indianapolis, Ind., she was born Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1961 to Fred and Verna Magruder of Lexington. She was a homemaker, an avid UK football and basketball fan, loved horseback riding, camping, and the outdoors.
Other survivors include her husband, Steve "Catfish" Brashear of Stanford; three daughters, Hannah Beatrice Brashear of Stanford, and twins, Melissa Ann (David) Crowe of Stanford and Stacy Marie Brashear of Danville; mother-in-law, Barbara Brashear (Bennie) Engle of Stanford; four sisters, Debra (Stephen) Drosick of Lexington, Cindy (John) Wemyss of Los Altos, Calif., Kathy (Butch) Walker of Paintsville, and Sarah (Brian) Lyle of Alexandria, Va.; two sister-in-laws, Vicki Brashear of Stanford and Cindy Brashear of Atlanta, Ga.; brother-in-law, Barry (Winifred) Brashear of Stanford; six grandchildren, Mikey, Kennedy, and Steven Crowe, Jaylon and Leigha Brashear, and Caydon Yates; and nine nieces and nephews.
