LIBERTY - Marie Elmore, 92, of Liberty, died Wednesday.
Born June 20, 1915, in Gilpin, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Parlee Roberts Henson. She was a homemaker and the widow of Roscoe Luttrell and Charlie Elmore.
Survivors include five daughters, Bernice Hopper of Cincinnati, Lela Hoskins, Patsy Tarter and Connie Sayers, all of Liberty, and Barbara Lanham of North Vernon, Ind.; a sister, Geneva Taylor of Liberty; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six children.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bartle Funeral Home.
Visitation is 6 p.m. today.
Sharon K. Perrin
1964-2007
LIBERTY - Sharon Kaye Perrin, 43, of Mount Vernon, died Thursday.
Born Sept. 19, 1964, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Clarence Griffin of Crab Orchard and the late Mattie Treadway Griffin. She was a certified nursing assistant.
Survivors include her husband, James Lynn Perrin; two sons, John Ryan of Crab Orchard and Joey Miller of Orlando, Ky.; a daughter, Evelyn Warren of Somerset; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Yosemite by the Revs. Joe Warren and Gene Gentry. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Charles Bourne

LANCASTER - Charles Clayton Bourne, 67, of Lancaster, died Thursday at Lancaster Christian Care Center.
Born June 15, 1939, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Julian Price and Irene Henderson Bourne. He was a farmer and member of First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
Survivors include a brother, Sam Bourne of Lancaster; and several cousins.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lancaster Cemetery with the Rev. Pamela Rucker officiating.
Memorials are preferred to the Garrard County Historical Society, 212 W. Maple Ave., Lancaster, KY 40444 and Heritage Hospice of Danville.

Mallie B. Denny

HARRODSBURG - Mallie Burkhart Denny, 70, of Burgin, wife of Jimmy G. Denny, died Wednesday.
Born Feb. 6, 1937, in Letcher County, she was the daughter of the late James and Cora Day Burkhart.
Other survivors include five daughters, Margaret Franchere of Campbellsville, Barbara Jean Lyons and Cathy Jo Derringer, both of Harrodsburg, Robin Bennett of Burgin and Patricia Moberly of Lancaster; three sons, Carl Griffith of Crab Orchard, Tony Denny of Adairville, Ga., and Jimmy Denny Jr. of Lancaster; a sister, Mackey McClemens of Lexington; and several grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Saturday.
Bessie Taliaferro

Bessie Rhea Tewmey Taliaferro, 78, of Harrodsburg, widow of Byron T. Compton and Robert J. Taliaferro, died Thursday.
Born March 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James Garnett and Laura May Tewmey.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen T. (Deanie) Compton of Lexington, Ky., and Richard L. (Mittie) Compton of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Daisy (Nolan) Freeman of Cedar Key, Fla.; and a brother, James L. (Flo) Tewmey of Harrodsburg. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Compton.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Saturday with services at 3 p.m. at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
