Christmas event planned
"A Country Store Christmas" will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Penn's Store. Light refreshments and music will be part of the event, and discounts on store merchandise will be offered.
Christmas parade lineup changed
Due to delayed construction on the parking garage, the Christmas parade scheduled for Nov. 30 will line up on South Second Street between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Main Street.
The parade will travel down Main Street and end at Centre College.
Registration is free. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: industry, commercial and non-commercial.
