Local woman opens pet kennel
A Clark County woman has opened a new pet boarding kennel.
Kathy Frick opened Almost Home pet kennel in September, although she was boarding pets for friends long before that.
Located at 2315 Two-Mile Road, Almost Home provides a heated and air conditioned facility with indoor and outdoor runs, a pet lounge, a fenced in outdoor area, bathing and nail trimming.
The kennel takes dogs, cats, and birds. Frick will also care for horses on a short-term basis.
Frick, who's home is next to the kennel, maintains hours throughout the day, but she asks that customers make an appointment to drop off and pick up pets. She said she also allows pick up at night, which most kennel don't do.
