The Jessamine Jazz Ensemble and JIVE!, Asbury College Jazz and Improvisational Vocal Ensemble will perform during Wilmore's Old Fashioned Christmas in the Clark Chapel next to Wilmore UMC. Performance times are from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.
The WJMS PTO and FCCLA will host a Holiday Bizarre from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m at West Middle School. There will be several vendors selling holiday items and baked goods and the FCCLA will also be selling concessions. There will also be a rummage sale. Proceeds from the event will go to help Abby Mullins and Christy Mullins. Abby is a 6th grade student who was diagnosed with leukemia last year.

Step back in time to experience the simple joys of the season at the fourth annual "Olde Christmas at Hall Church" on Sunday, Dec. 2, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Decorated with fresh cedar and pine, the bells will ring again at this historic church built by black Union soldiers in the late 1800's. Special seasonal readings, group singing, and Christmas music will be presented, along with homemade refreshments and wassail. Hall Church is located in the Camp Nelson Civil War Heritage Park on Hall Road, south of Nicholasville off U.S. 27. Sponsored by the Jessamine County Special Events Committee, the event is free and open to the public.

Jessamine Adult Day Program is offering a "Free Day" for new clients at the center. Jessamine Adult Day is a medical and social model that provides care for adults 21 years of age or older who may have a diagnosis of mental retardation, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, or Alzheimer's disease or any other related illness.
