Willard Dale Ashcraft, 74, of Hustonville, died Sunday, Nov. 25.
A native of Dearborn County, Ind., he was born Sept. 3, 1933 to the late David M. Ashcraft and Mary Agnes Sullivan Ashcraft. He had worked as a shipping supervisor for Thatcher Glass in Lawrenceburg, Ind., (now Anchor Glass) and Foster-Forbes in Marion, Ind., and was a veteran of the Air Force.
Survivor include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Smith Ashcraft of Hustonville; one son, Jimmy Dale Ashcraft of Lawrenceburg, Ind; one daughter, Deborah Disbro of Aurora, Ind.; two stepsons, Kevin Powers of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and Brian Powers of Gravel Switch; one brother, Donald Ashcraft of Celina, Ohio; one sister, Hazel Oberting of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; and four step grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today (Nov. 29) at Fitch-Denny Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, Ind.
W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home of Moreland was in charge of the local arrangements.
