Rockcastle shot 34 percent (19-for-56) from the field and hit just three of 17 3-point shots. The Lady Rockets were 13-for-14 at the free-throw line, where Lincoln was 9-for-14.
Lincoln outrebounded Rockcastle 35-24 and overcame 23 turnovers.
Nikki Bustle had 12 points and six rebounds for the Lady Patriots, and Savannah Lane had 12 points and four rebounds. Upchurch had a team-high four assists.
Sarah Rowe led Rockcastle with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Boyle County 58, East Jessamine 54 - At Danville, Boyle (1-1) defeated East Jessamine (0-3) to win its first game for new coach David Christopher.
Kendra Ross scored 15 points and Hayley Hellyer and Karlie Neal added 14 each for the Lady Rebels.
Hellyer also had a game-high 14 rebounds, Neal had nine boards and Michelle Howell had six. Five Boyle players had at least three rebounds each.
Western Hills 65, Burgin 45 - At Burgin, Western Hills had 25 offensive rebounds while the Bulldogs had 23 total boards and 24 turnovers in a home loss to the Wolverines.
"That's pretty much the difference in the game right there," Burgin coach Don Irvine said of the rebounding margin. "That, and we can't keep turning the ball over 20 something time a game."
Bev Harris had a game-high 21 points for Burgin, and Alyson Burke added 15. Burgin trailed 32-20 at the half, and 48-35 after three quarters.
