Rain, rain, go away

Despite persistent rain and a curtain of fog, Winchester's Main Street was a busy place late Saturday afternoon as a lone pedestrian made his way through traffic near Leeds Theater, top photo. The weekend rain caused threats of flooding in several Eastern Kentucky counties, with forecasts for continued showers in much of the state through Wednesday. Christmas tree lights shining through an antique glass door on West Hickman Street, bottom photo, produced a variety of abstract patterns that were elongated by a camera's zoom lens.
