HARRODSBURG - A cash reward is being offered by Mercer County Crime Stoppers for information about burglaries at two houses under construction and an auto dealership in November, police said.
Electrical wiring and copper plumbing were taken Nov. 30 from two new houses in Virginia Heights, police said.
The burglary at Nevada Auto Sales, 1050 N. College St., on Nov. 25 was a forced entry. The suspect allegedly took tools, including a vehicle buffer, hand grinder, two air files and four spray-paint guns.
Anyone with information about the break-ins can receive up to $300 in reward money.
Arthur Godbey received a $250 check recently as a reward for good citizenship by the Crime Stoppers Committee. He provided information to the police department that resulted in the arrest of a shoplifter and the recovery of more than $2,000 in stolen merchandise from Danville and Harrodsburg.
