Dear Editor,
Everyone, Republican or Democrat, should write to their congressmen and ask them to keep the current tax relief in place. Accelerating existing tax relief will encourage consumer spending by giving 92 million taxpayers an average $1,083 in tax relief this year, immediately injecting billions into the economy. I am sure everyone could stand to keep that money in their pockets and not send it to people who only think they can spend our money better than us.
