NARFE Chapter 1828 met Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Central Baptist Church for a potluck dinner and its annual auction for Alzheimer's research.
Geneva Lenox was presented with a plaque for her many years of service as chapter treasurer.

The chapter held its Christmas dinner meeting at the first Church of God on Monday, Dec. 10, with Laura Spragg, accompanied by guitarist Scott Muka, presenting a program of Christmas carols.
