Brenda Carolyn Belcher Mattingly, 57

Brenda Carolyn Belcher Mattingly, 57, of Forest Avenue, Danville died Saturday, Jan. 19 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

A native of Boyle County, she was born May 27, 1950 to Louise Coffman Belcher and the late Ray Tim Belcher. She was the owner of Brenda's Workshop for eight years and Belcher's Upholstery in Parksville for 18 years, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Other survivors include her husband, Dexter Mattingly of Danville; a son, Timothy (Brandy) Montgomery of Moreland; two daughters, Deborah Montgomery of Danville and Joni (Kerray) Wooton of Glendale; a stepson, Jon Mattingly of Danville; two stepdaughters, Brandy Montgomery and Brittney Conder both of Moreland; a brother, Phillip R. (Alice) Belcher of Danville; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Heather Pendygraft, Jacob and Angel Wooton, Jessica and Mahayla Montgomery and Gage Conder; one niece, Fran Belcher; one nephew, Phillip Belcher Jr.; one great nephew, Logan Ray Smith; and one great niece, Chelsea Jarboe.

Funeral services were Jan. 22 at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home in Danville with Bro. Harold Best officiating. Burial was in Parksville Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Jacob Wooton, Kerray Wooton, Lee Belcher, Johnnie Coffman, Ernie Conder, Jamie Cox, Wayne Raley, and Christopher Pendygraft. Honorary pallbearers were Donald and Brenda Cochran, Bill and Jean Elliott, Howard and Cheryl Mattingly, Jerry Mattingly, Tommy and Ruby Colvin, and Shiela Mattingly.
