Dear Editor,
In response to Kristy Sugars' letter on Jan. 22 in The Advocate-Messenger, I bet she has never worked in the restaurant industry. People are working at these establishments for different reasons.
Try and have a little more common courtesy, please. It's not a server's fault they make $2.13 an hour. They can't do anything about it. If you can't afford to tip then go to a fast food restaurant.
