Prep Roundup: Lincoln boys win, Burgin girls lose in OT

Noah Keeton scored 24 points and Ryan Young added 16 points Saturday to lead Lincoln County (16-4) to a 58-55 win over host Wayne County.

Ethan Spurlin added eight points and Daniel Ralston scored six points for Lincoln, which led 31-29 at the half and 45-42 after three quarters.

Sayre 52, Burgin 50, OT

At Burgin, the Bulldogs (9-7) took visiting Sayre (18-3) to overtime but could not pull off the win in the finals of the Bluegrass Conference Tournament.

Bev Harris scored 22 points and Alyson Burke added 19 for Burgin, which led 30-24 after three quarter before Sayre was able to force overtime with the game tied at 44. Samantha Bowie led Sayre with 23 points.
