- Ernest L. Knowles pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and second-degree fleeing or evading police. A pretrial conference was set for March 5 and the trial was scheduled for March 10. His bond was reduced to $5,000 at 10 percent.
- Whitney D. Jackson completed the two year pretrial diversion and the case was dismissed.
- Megan Brewer is in state custody and was given six months to pay court costs.
- Steven B. Sexton was ordered to appear in circuit court on March 5, if his court costs are not paid, to explain why he should not be held in contempt of court or have his probation set aside.
- Gary T. Jones was released from custody to appear for a probation revocation hearing on March 5.
- Lisa Tipson filed a motion for shock probation, which was taken under advisement.
- Vickie Barber filed a motion for shock probation, which was taken under advisement.
- Kimberly L. Henderson was sentenced to one year for first-degree promoting contraband, six months for second-degree possession of a controlled substance and six months for possession of marijuana. All sentences will run concurrently as recommended by the commonwealth.
- The status hearing for Raney Dunn, Jr. wwas continued until March 5 pending the completion of mental examination evaluation. Defendant's bond will remain as previously set.
- Brandon A. Drake was sentenced to one year each for first-degree fleeing or evading police and first-degree wanton endangerment plus 90 days each for driving under the influence and driving on a suspended operator's license. On recommendation of the commonwealth, all sentences will run concurrently for a total of one year.
- Deanna K. McIntosh was sentenced to six years each for two counts first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. The sentences will run concurrently and she was ordered to report to the Clark County Detention Center on Feb. 19. A work release order would be granted and a drug court evaluation was requested for the March 20 shock probation hearing.
- Clarence E. White was sentenced to oen year for driving under the influence (fourth offense) and 90 days for possession of an open container of alcoholic beverage. The sentences will run concurrently as recommended by the commonwealth.
- A pre-trial conference for David H. Palmer was rescheduled for March 20 to allow for discovery to be completed and provided to counsel.
- Michael Halk was sentenced to four months each for cultivating marijuana more than five plants, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana for a total of eight months. Jail time was set aside for two years of probation with conditions of paying $25 a month for supervision fees, paying the court costs within 6 months and the usual conditions.
- Katheryn A. Halk was sentenced to 15 months for tampering with physical evidence. She will serve two years of probation with conditions of paying $25 a month for supervision fees, paying the court costs within 6 months and the usual conditions.
- Kenneth R. Chambers, Jr. was sentenced to five years in prison for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, as recommended by the commonwealth.
- James D. Mullins pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, as amended by the commonwealth. He was sentenced to three years of probation in exchange for two years in prison. He was ordered to pay $25 a month for supervision fees, to pay court costs within nine months and to abide by the usual conditions.
- A May 5 trial was scheduled for Patrick and Joy R. Watkins since all discovery in the murder trial is complete.
- A March 3 trial was scheduled for William E. Owings, who is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
