Community Education deadline is Friday

Friday is the last day to register for the following classes offered by Community Education, a program of the Clark County Schools:

- Karate, Mondays, March 3 to April 21, 6 to 7 p.m. at College Park Gym. Cost is $60, $30 for additional family members. Instructor is Brian Runyon.

- Zumba for Kids, ages 8 to 12, Mondays, March 3 to 24, 4 to 5 p.m. at Central Elementary School Gymnasium. Cost is $35. Instructor is Richard Cates.

- Excel for Beginners, Mondays, March 3 to 24, 6 to 8 p.m. at George Rogers Clark High School, computer lab 109. Cost is $30. Instructor is Betsy Dennis.

- Middle Eastern Dance, Mondays, March 3 to April 7, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Clark County Public Library. Cost is $40. Instructor is Kathryn Bowers.

- Photoshop, Tuesdays, March 4 to 25, 6 to 8 p.m. at GRC, computer lab 109. Cost is $40. Instructor is Steve Craycraft.

- Knitting for Beginners, Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 4 to March 13, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Clark Middle Library. Cost is $25. Instructor is Linda Bridgewater.

- Pilates, Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 4 to 27, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at College Park Gym. Cost is $40. Instructor is Richard Cates.

- Beading for Beginners, Tuesday, March 4, 6 to 8 p.m. at GRC, Room H158. Cost is $25. Instructor is Michele Baber.

- Conversational Spanish, Fridays, March 7 to May 2, 6 p.m to 8 p.m. at GRC, room H151. Cost is $50. Instructor is Raul Garces.

- Beginning Drawing, Thursdays, March 6 to 27, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Clark Middle, art room. Cost is $100. Supplies provided. Instructor is Salina Ramsay.
