Hilda Epperson McCoy, 77, of Crab Orchard Road, Lancaster, died Wednesday, March 5 at her home.
A native of Powell County, she was born Jan. 17, 1931 to the late Minter Epperson and Clemma Napier Epperson. She was a homemaker, member of Gilberts Creek Baptist Church, and widow of Raymond McCoy.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eulice Epperson.
Survivors include four sons, Hadrin (Jeanie) McCoy of Michigan, Glenn (Norma) McCoy of Ohio, Earl (Bonnie) McCoy of Lancaster, and Wendell (Sheryl) McCoy of Wilmore; two daughters, Carolyn (Gary) Leonard of Ohio and Joyce (Mike) Rhineheimer of Lancaster; two brothers, Kendall (Janice) Epperson of Prestonsburg and Larry (Kay) Epperson of Stanton; six sisters, Julia Ashcraft of Wilmore, Opal (Jerry) Pickett of Ohio, Phillis Rogers of Stanton, Rita (Bobby) Mays of North Carolina, Madonna (Jerry) Mundell of Colorado, and Brucie (Keith) Carpenter of Winchester; 10 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
