Coach's comment: "We will come together as a team and produce lots of wins if we stay consisted at the plate with our hitting and make less errors on defense than we did last year. One of our strengths is our versatility at the plate. I see our senior leadership taking control this season, because I can see that they really want to have a great season and make their mark in the program."

Season Outlook: Lincoln returns a veteran squad with lots of offensive firepower, led by All-Area outfielder Morgan Brown. If Ashton Gooch can solidify the pitching spot, Lincoln can be a hard out for most teams. Leffew likes the nucleus she has with Patterson, Adams, Alexis Gooch and Christy Day, and she'll be looking for contributions from Alissa Patterson, Katlyn Hogue and Sydney Folger as well.

Top returnees: Coach did provide information.

Coach's comment: "We are excited about the season and look forward to see how we have grown as a team since last year. We have conditioned very hard in the off season and I hope it pays off. We have many players returning and they are anxious to begin playing games."

Outlook: The Titans had the lowest-scoring offense in the region last season with 61 runs (3.2 runs per game), so generating more offense will be a key for Mercer's success this season.
