Vickie Ann Hale, 51, died March 22 at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born in Lexington on July 19, 1956 to the late Edgar Ray and Mae Nell Goocher Snowden.
Mrs. Hale is survived by her daughter Wanda Elliott of Nicholasville, two sons Joshua Hale of Nicholasville and Anthony Snowden of Mt. Sterling, one sister Wanda Snowden of Lexington, three grandchildren Trevor Elliott, Harley and Ana Snowden, and her former husband Lonnie Hale of Nicholasville.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 at the Nicholasville United Methodist Church located at 103 Maple St., Nicholasville, officiated by the Rev. John Rudd. Visitation was held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers were Joshua Hale, Jackie Lee Hale, Anthony Snowden, Stacy Elliott, Ricky Hale, Melvin Tudor, Danny Johnson, O.T. Robertson and Herbert Caudill. Serving as honorary pallbearer was Trevor Elliott. Burial followed at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville. Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
