As part of a nationwide effort dubbed Park Day, cleanup work will take place Saturday at Perryville Battlefield.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities, including cannon repair and horticultural activities. The group will re-plant about 40 sapling trees to help re-establish Maney's Woods and will clean up Crawford Springs.
The park will provide lunch and refreshments. If you are interested in helping, contact Joni House. Sign-ups will begin at 8 a.m. Volunteers will receive T-shirts.
