Fort Logan Hospital invites the public to attend a dedication ceremony and open house of the new hospital Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The dedication ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and tours of the hospital offered.
The $16 million hospital offers 25 beds within 54,000 square feet of space. It features all private rooms, an expanded emergency department and obstetrics unit, two operating rooms, an expanded imaging department including magnetic resonance imaging, and rehabilitation and outpatient areas. The expanded obstetrics unit has three obstetrics beds and two observation beds.
Located at 110 Metker Trail, at the intersection of U.S. 150 and U.S. 27, the new hospital officially opened on April 11, when the facility at 124 Portman Avenue was closed.
Fort Logan Hospital is also home to four services that opened this winter: an immediate care clinic; a specialty clinic, where patients can see specialty physicians; Lincoln Physical Therapy; and MedSource of Stanford, a new service in Lincoln County offering home medical equipment and supplies.
