Eddie A. Propes, 54, of Mullins Road, Yosemite, died Wednesday, April 16 as the result of an automobile accident.
A native of Lincoln County, he was born Jan. 24, 1954 to the late Chester Jackson and Ruby Propes. He was a construction worker.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph "Joe" Propes, Harold Pemberton, Hobert Propes and Lyle Ray Propes.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Combs Propes; two sons, Sheldon Propes and Joey Combs both of Yosemite; two daughters, Trina Mitchell and Tasha Propes both of Yosemite; one brother, Kenneth Pemberton of Junction City; two sisters, Elizabeth Arnold of Liberty and Vivian Goldsberry of Indiana; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were April 19 at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Bro. Gerald Sims officiating. Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery in Casey County.
