Garrard grand jury indicts six

LANCASTER - A Garrard County grand jury recently returned indictments against the following people. Arraignments are scheduled May 16 in Garrard District Court.

* Heather Embry, 18, 393 Cardinal Circle, charged with theft of a controlled substance valued at more than $300 for allegedly taking hydrocodone belonging to Anna Quinn on March 12.

Deputy Sheriff Keith Addison was the grand jury witness.

* Brian Daniels, 24, of Harrodsburg, burglary and theft of a firearm for allegedly entering a residence at 654 Hamilton Springs Road and taking a gun belonging to Mary Snowden on March 19.

Addison testified.

* Daniel Quinn, 27, of 393 Cardinal Circle, second-offense possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having hydrocodone on March 13 after having previously been convicted of a similar offense.

* Charles Harvey, 28, of Nicholasville, possession of burglary tools, theft more than $300 and trespassing for allegedly entering property belonging to Gilbert Tuggle on March 31. Deputy Sheriff Brandon Conley testified

* Joseph L. Smith, 39, of 308 Edwards Lane, possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia on March 22. Addison testified.

* Daniel E. Wilmot, 55, of Paint Lick, trafficking in methadone and marijuana and possession of Xanax on March 20. Addison testified.
