Welcome to Winchester

A new Welcome to Winchester sign has been placed near New Boonesboro Road, replacing the old sign which had been in place for many years. Civil clubs and government agencies helping with the expense of the new sign were, Commissioner Rick Beach, representing the city; Winchester Rotary Club President Coos Ockers; Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce President Charmagne Castle; Clark County Judge-Executive Henry Branham, representing the county; and Winchester Kiwanis Club President Bill Blakeman.
