Gayle and Teresa Shimfessel of Winchester are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney J. Shimfessel, to Zach D. Mullikin. Zach is the son of Roger and Gayle Mullikin of Maysville.
Whitney is a 2004 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and is a senior at Morehead State University. She will graduate with a bachelor's degree in animal science in 2009.
Zach is a 2000 graduate of Mason County High School and 2004 graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Science.
He is employed with DP&L in Aberdeen, Ohio.
The wedding is set for August 2 in Winchester.
