FATAL CRASH IN BOURBON

A 40-year-old man was killed Sunday when the vehicle he was riding in crashed in Bourbon County.

At 7 p.m., Kentucky State Police responded to the stretch along Route 627 after a vehicle rolled over, according to police.

The 40-year-old, whose name has not been released, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other passengers were injured. A 14-year-old was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, and a 23-year-old was taken by ambulance to UK Medical Center, both with multiple injuries. Another 23-year-old was treated and released from the Bourbon County Hospital.

Police have not released their identities. Authorities are investigating the accident.

- Frank F. Rayburn, 46, of 513 Cambridge Square was charged Friday with possession of drug paraphernalia.

- Shaun D. Fields, 29, of Hazard was charged Friday with disregarding a traffic control device.

- Virgial S. Anger III, 33, of 11 Hughes Ave., Apt. 17, was charged Saturday with public intoxication and third-degree criminal trespassing.

- John Lukasavage, 24, of 144 Westside Drive was charged Saturday with alcohol intoxicaiton.

- Pedro Garcia, 38, of 62 Grandview was charged Saturday with second-degree wanton endangerment, non-payment of fines and murder.

- Lola El-Shaarawy, 36, of 62 Grandview was charged Saturday with no registration plate and failure to notify address change.

- Georgia L. Wallace, 38, of 107 W. Hickman St. was charged Saturday with no registration plate, no eye protective device, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, driving on a suspended operator's license and no insurance.

- Brent D. Wallace, 19, of 107 W. Hickman was charged Saturday with fleeing or evading police and resisting arrrest.

- Teresa M. Harbison, 33, of Lexington was charged Saturday with speeding, following too closely, reckless driving and no seat belt.

- Daniel B. Maxam, 19, of 324 Colby Ridge Road was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication, fleeing or evading police and criminal mischief.

- Antonio B. Rodriguez, 32, of 707 W. Lexington Ave., Apt. 6, was charged Sunday with speeding, driving on a suspended operator's license and no insurance.

- James W. Stone, 21, of Mount Sterling was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication.

- Francisco Cruz, 22, of London was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication.

- Georgina L. Hobson, 43, of 20 Maryland was charged Sunday with failure to appear.

- Isiah B. Woolwine, 18, of 136 Cherokee Dr. was charged Sunday with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

- Casandra Crawford, 25, of 1205 Westwood was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking.

- Phillip E. Hood, 49, of 28 Buckner St. was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication.

- Bradley A. Coyle, 23, of 27 E. Washington St. Apt. 25 was charged Sunday with expired registration plate and no insurance.

- Georgina Rowland, 43, of 20 Maryland Ave. Was charged today with failure to appear.

Reports

- At 6:41 p.m. May 23, police stopped Stephen T. Horton II for driving under the influence. During the search, officers found four hydrocodone pills in the subject's pocket. He was charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.

- At 9:36 p.m. May 23, police arrested Greg D. Richardson for alcohol intoxication. Following the arrest, police found marijuana, seeds and three Phenergan pills in the subject's pocket. He was charged with possession of marijuana and illegal possession of a legend drug.

- At 11:09 p.m. Friday, police responded to a loud music complaint at 513 Cambridge Square. When the resident opened the door and allowed officers inside, he had a used crack pipe with residue in his hand. Frank Rayburn was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers also asked Theodore A. Scott for permission to search his person at the same residence. Officers found a small bag of marijuana in his pocket and arrested him for possession of marijuana.

- At 1:10 a.m. Saturday police received a report of a domestic assault at 250 Oxford Drive, Apt. 53, where Samantha Clem said she was in an argument with Franklin T. Caudill. She said he slapped and choked her, put her head into the wall and put a pistol to her head. She said he let her go when she yelled for someone to call the police. Caudill was charged with wanton endangerment and assault.
