The Jessamine County Fire Department reversed its role Wednesday, setting a house fire instead of putting it out.
The department set four different types of fires inside a house on Union Mill Road as a part of a demonstration for the Kentucky state fire school's arson class.
Afterwards, the students sifted through the remains of the house and looked at the evidence to try and determine how the fire was started and decide whether or not it was intentionally set.
