Charles and Alice Coates of Clay City announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara Coates, to Zack Conlee, son of Bobby and Connie Conlee.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Grant County High School and is a junior at Morehead State University, studying nursing. She is employed by Eastern State Hospital.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Clark County Christian School and a 2003 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He is employed as a police officer by the city of Winchester.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, June 21 at 3 p.m. at First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road, Winchester.
