Happy campers

The George Rogers Clark High School varsity cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) Summer Camp at Eastern Kentucky University recently. The squad placed second in extreme routine and overall routine. Seniors Hannah Edwards, Christine Stenzel and Robyn Kiniry were named to the camp all-star team. Team members by class are as follows: Seniors — Lauren Charles, Shelbi Denham, Edwards, Kiniry, Katie Ledford, Katherine Lindsay, Charisse Ridgeway, Evan Sams and Stenzel. Juniors — Hillary Birch, Samantha Duvall, Tenesha Israel, Caroline Jackson and Chandler Thomas. Sophomores — Kendall Barrett, Brittany Corum, Caitlin Graham, Drew Ison, Alex Lewis and Sara Omohundro. Freshmen — Jessica Chism, Ragan Clark, Kaelin Flynn, Sabra Israel, Makenzie Shuler, Adaisha Skinner, Makenzie Waltermire, Krista Wasson and India Williams. Sponsors are Nella Payne, Ruth Thornberry, Jennifer Graham and Kim Ritchie. Coaches are Paige Wedgworth, Ruth Annetts and Michael Bradley.
