Wedding announcements for July 6

Duncan-Vaidya

Dr. Elizabeth Ann Duncan and Dr. Punit Vijay Vaidya were married May 25 in a traditional Hindu ceremony performed by Priest Manish Trivedi, on the front lawn of The Mansion in Lexington. Following the Hindu ceremony, the couple were united in a Christian ceremony officiated by the Rev. Mandye Yates.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don and Kathy Duncan of Harrodsburg. She is an assistant professor of biology at Towson University in Towson, Md.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Vijay and Kailash Vaidya of Westlake, Ohio. He is a resident in the psychiatry department at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The couple lives in Baltimore.

Bowles-Bugg

Ashley Nicole Bowles and Charles Travis Bugg were married June 13 in Danville by Steve May of Pikeville.

Jamie Boone of West Virginia served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Cook of Georgetown and Tamara Douglas of Harrodsburg. Jessan Logue of Harrodsburg was flowergirl.

Patrick Davis of Harrodsburg was best man. Groomsmen were Logan Hall and Travis Whitehead.

The bride is the daughter of Kelly Collins of Georgetown and Jeff Bowles of West Virginia. The groom is the son of Chuck and Sandy Bugg of Harrodsburg.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas and Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple lives in Harrodsburg.

Walker-Dillingham

Cortney Michelle Walker and Ryan Norris Dillingham were married May 24 at First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs by the Rev. Jeff Winfrey.

Allison McGuffey of Danville, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Wendy Raney of Danville, Emily Fox of Charlottesville Va., Lynn Amend of Covington and Anna Monroe of Hilton Head, S.C. Flowergirl was Raegan McGuffey of Danville.

Dan Dillingham of Jackson, Tenn, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Johnathon Stormes of Nashville, Tenn., Jerome Galloway of Shreveport, La., Brandon Johnson of Murray and Alex Mitchell of Clearwater, Fla.

After a reception at the church, the couple honeymooned on Hilton Head Island.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Judy Walker of Danville. She is a 1999 graduate of Santa Fe High School and a 2003 graduate of University of Kentucky. She is the credit risk officer and assistant vice president at Century Bank in Lawrenceburg.

The groom is the son of Kent and Donna Dillingham of Dawson Springs. He is a 2000 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and a 2004 graduate of University of Kentucky. He is employed as a commercial associate at Fifth Third bank in Lexington.

The couple lives in Nicholasville.

Gregory-Goatee

Dylana Lynn Gregory and Jamison Allen Goatee were married May 31 at Hemlock Hills Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn., by the Rev. Jeff Ownby.

Kristi Ice of Stanford was maid of honor and Amye French, of Stanford, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Brian Glass of Stanford was best man. Groomsman was Sampson Goatee of Monticello, brother of the groom.

A reception was held June 7 at First Southern National Bank in Stanford. The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Tammy and Larry French of Stanford and Robert Gregory of Lancaster. She is a 2006 graduate of Lincoln County High School, attends Eastern Kentucky University and is an instructor at KC's Gymnastics in Danville.

The groom is the son of Becky and Dennis Miller of Stanford and Charles Goatee of Monticello. He is a 2004 graduate of Lincoln County High School and employed by Wal-Mart.

They live in Stanford.
