LANCASTER - An investigation is under way regarding vandalism at Garrard County High School last week, the Lancaster Police Department said.

According to Garrard County Superintendent Raymond Woolsey, a classroom and the book room at the high school were damaged by vandals. Woolsey said the responsible individuals broke into the rooms and set off the fire extinguishers.

The Lancaster Police Department did not have any comment at this time. Woolsey acknowledged the investigation is on-going, adding part of the crime may have been caught on videotape. Woolsey said boys participating in community service work at the school are possible suspects.
