WALTER "DOC" MCGLOTHEN
Walter "Doc" McGlothen, 87, of 575 Sir Walter Lane, widower of Virgie Holder McGlothen, died Wednesday at his home.
A native of Clark County, he was the son of the late Russell and Anna L. Thomas McGlothen. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Ford Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Ann Winburn of Clark County; one son, Michael "Bo" McGlothen of Clark County; one grandson and his spouse, Joey and Susan Winburn of Clark County; one great-grandson, Joseph Winburn; one sister, Aileen "Cricket" Lowry of Winchester; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Clarmont Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Lee Cruse. Pallbearers will be Joey Winburn, J.W. Winburn, Gale Clark, Jason Clark, Harold Moore and Vernon C. Hukle.
