I would like to inform your readers that news articles about local funeral homes in arrears due to unpaid cemetery graves and opening fees does not apply to Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.
Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home pays the fees owed to the Danville cemeteries and all other cemeteries on the day of the funeral.
When the money is not available on the day of the burial, but forthcoming from insurance proceeds or other sources, we advance the money and pay the cemetery. We do this as a service to those we serve, a practice my father taught me. That is why we have no debt to the city.
