On Sunday, July 20, the Stanford Nazarene Church had 53 in attendance for Sunday school and 90 in attendance for the Sunday morning worship service as we celebrated "Old Time Way Days." We had a wonderful service at the Hanging Fork Chapel immediately followed by a baptismal service in the Hanging Fork of the Dix River, where six individuals took part in the outward expression of the inward change Christ has made in their lives! This was followed by a picnic on the grounds and time of fellowship. We would like to thank all of those who participated in preparing the grounds and making the service possible as well as a very special thanks to Bro. Larry Nichols for allowing the church to utilize the chapel and grounds.

Pick-up for July Angel Food orders is Saturday, July 26 at 10 a.m. Orders can be picked up in the fellowship hall. Orders for August's Angel Food are currently being received. You can place your order at the church on the first two Thursdays of every month from 9 a.m. to noon. The deadline for August orders is Sunday. Aug. 10. We are now providing nursery services during our Sunday morning worship services. If you have a child that is three years old or under, you can take them to the nursery immediately following Sunday school.

We would like to invite all children in the community to come out on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. for our Caravan program. This program works like boy/girl scouts in that the children receive awards while learning about the Bible. We also have started a youth program for ages 10 and up in the community. The weekly radio broadcasts can be heard every Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. on WPBK 102.9 FM. Also, our weekly television broadcasts air every Thursday evening at 6 p.m. on Time Warner Cable channel 6.

Pastor Jason Coulter has two music CD's available. The cost of these CD's are $15 for both projects. You can request these CD's by logging on to our website or by sending a check payable to the Stanford Nazarene Church to 73 Elizabeth Ave. Stanford, KY 40484. All monies received for these music projects are put directly back into the ministry of the Stanford Nazarene Church.

Keep up to date with your scripture reading. For this week the focus will be Romans 5:12-21. Read up and come on out this Sunday and join us for Sunday school as we discuss these verses!
