Phillips named to Kentucky Trust Board of Directors

Scott Burks, Lee Saufley Phillips, and Terry Currens have been named to the Board of Directors of Kentucky Trust Company.

Burks is a principal of Johnson and Pohlmann Insurance in Danville. He is a 1981 graduate of Boyle County High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky in 1985. He has served as a director of the Salvation Army, Heart of Danville, Danville Kiwanis Club and Pioneer Vocational Industrial Services. He and his wife Pamela have two children, Tanner and Alexa.

Phillips is vice president of Builders Supply in Stanford. Originally from Stanford, she graduated from Boyle County High School in 1983 and received a Bachelor's Degree from Rollins College in Winter Park Florida in 1987. She has served on the board of the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, Stanford Renaissance, Lincoln County Habitat for Humanity, and CASA at Woodlawn. She resides in Mercer County with her husband, Hunter and son, Caswell.

Currens has been a manager of Caldwell Tanks of Louisville Kentucky since 2006 when they acquired Currens Company, Inc. which he founded. He is a lifelong resident of Mercer County and graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1981. Terry is married to the former Sandra Brown and is active in Shawnee Run Baptist Church where he has served as treasurer and on the Personnel Committee.
