Why doesn't the traffic at exit 96 have two lanes turning left? Wait, that might prevent an accident.

Why did it take years of study after study after study, costing untold amounts of money to finally come up with a plan for WMU to build a new wastewater plant? The end result looked to me just about like what was proposed initially.

I would also include some remarks about the Clark County Fiscal Court, but those wouldn't be printed, I'm sure, because being the unsophisticated person I am, I would be too graphic in describing what I consider their blunders. You can rest assured they are right up there with the city in achievements.

I especially like those ditching machines that throw the rocks all over my yard every time they "improve" the ditches along Little Stoner Road. The next big rain that comes washes all that fresh dirt and gravel right into the road. Then the county just comes along and pushes them back into my yard as well.

But I digress.

In the end, all that matters is that the original question I posed still remains unanswered: Who owns the gas stations in Winchester?

I bought gas in Richmond Thursday at $3.60 per gallon. The price in Winchester was $3.78. Someone is making a killing off of the people of Winchester, and either the local government can't do anything about it or won't.

I moved to this state just when Boptrot occurred. I haven't seen anything to change my stance on politicians since.
