Bank breaks ground

Peoples Exchange Bank broke ground Aug. 14 for a new branch that will be located at 125 Rosemary Brooks Way in Winchester.

"We are very excited about the groundbreaking and that Peoples Exchange Bank will be able to offer our customers another convenient solution for their banking needs," said Randy Todd, market president for Winchester. "Our new branch will present the best in quality and service that individuals, businesses and families have come to expect while banking with Peoples Exchange Bank."

Scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2009, the new building will be a full-service bank with a drive-thru facility and ample parking, according to the bank.

The 2,800-square-foot location will provide more operating space and offer Saturday morning hours, a 24-hour ATM service, drive-up window, self-storage boxes and night depository.
