Violet M. Surber Bishop, 84, of Eubank, died Sunday, Aug. 17 at her home.
A native of Eubank, she was born July 14, 1924, to the late Everett C. and Roberta Estes Surber. She was a member of Freedom Christian Church and the widow of Fred Alvin Bishop.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Everett Surber Jr.
Survivors include two children, Gary (Arlene) Bishop of Boca Raton, Fla., and Peggy S. Martin of Eubank; four grandchildren, David Bishop, Cindy Lefort, Laurie Roberge, and Dawn Martin Hopson; four great grandchildren, Jessie Lynn, John Michael, Emily Dawn and Sebastian.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today (Aug. 21) at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Bro. Tracy Valentine officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery.
