Weekly television listings in The Advocate-Messenger will take on a new look and a new day beginning Friday, when we introduce TV Spotlight as an insert to your newspaper.
The guide to television programming for the week to come will appear every Friday, moving to that day from Sunday.
At the same time, we will discontinue publication of the single day, evening program grids that have been appearing on the back page of the classified section Monday through Friday.
The TV Spotlight from the Friday paper will provide that service and more in a single tabloid issue that includes feature stories on popular programs and celebrities, highlights about movies and an extra crossword and Sudoku for puzzle lovers and lots of advertising from area businesses. And we can use the space formerly taken up by the daily grid to give you more local news.
