Wedding announcements for Sept. 7

Shelton-Swoboda

Samantha Marie Shelton and William James Swoboda were married Aug. 8 by Corvin Adkins at The Arboretum in Lexington.

Anthony Herold of Danville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Wagner of Richmond, and Sasha Ciconte and Beth Keith, both of Lexington.

Best man was Steven Hammon of Texas. Groomsman was Noah Underwood-Sweet of Lexington.

The bride is a daughter of Juan and Cindy Dominguez of Junction City. She is a 2004 graduate of Boyle County High School. She currently is employed by Wal-Mart.

The groom is a son of Jeff Swoboda of Altus, Okla., and the late Mary Swoboda. He is a graduate of Altus High School in Oklahoma. He currently is employed by Cracker Barrel.

The reception was at the Hilton in Lexington Green and a wedding trip was taken to Gatlinburg, Tenn. The couple live in Danville.

Ball-Vanhook

Ashley Lee Ball and Jeremy Daniel Vanhook were married June 21 by James Erwin and Josh Vanhook at Stanford Presbyterian Church.

Anne Gaines of Sarasota, Fla., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Brenda of Crab Orchard, Amy Coleman of Lexington, and Bridget Carmicle and Kallen Wright, both of Stanford. Flowergirl was Brooklyn Garrett of Waynesburg.

Best man was Dale Sheperson of Perryville. Groomsmen were Mack Johnson of Kings Mountain, Brian Osterman of Danville, Eric Wooldridge of Stanford and Justin Leach of Nashville, Tenn. Ringbearers were Jamison Ball of Danville and Luke Sheperson of Perryville.

The bride is a daughter of Woody and Nancy Ball of Stanford. She is a 2001 graduate of Lincoln County High School and a 2005 graduate of University of the Cumberlands. She is employed by the Lincoln County Property Valuation Administrator Office.

The groom is the son of Joy Vanhook of Hustonville and the late William Vanhook. He is a 1998 graduate of Lincoln County High School. He is employed by Central Seal in Danville.

The reception was held at the Stanford Baptist Church Christian Life Center and a wedding trip was taken to Panama City, Fla. The couple live in Highland.

Pevley-Rogers

Nikki Pevley and Kyle Rogers were married Aug. 2 in Forkland by the Rev. Kenneth Spaw.

The bride is a daughter of Tammy and Floyd Pevley of Liberty. She is a 2004 graduate of Casey County High School and is employed the American Greetings Corp.

The groom is the son of Brenda and Kelvin Rogers of Junction City. He is a 2003 graduate of Boyle County High School and is employed by Horn Electric.
