Victoria Peel Stinnett, 99, widow of Stratton Stinnett died Thursday, Sept. 4. She was a resident of Royal Manor Nursing Home, a homemaker, member of Elm Fork Christian Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and pianist.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lizzie Comley Peel, sisters, Arkie Bowman, Martha Perkins, Hanna Gayhart, Gladys Carter and Josephine Peel, brothers, Luther, Jord, Bob, Brutus, Rice, Carl, Elmer and Shirley Peel.
Services were held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Associate Minister Dale Hunt officiating and burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Bearers were Sonny and Marc Preston, Brian Peel, Danny Ray Coldiron Jr., Tony Wells, Michael Mallory and Andrew Slugantz.
