A man and woman from Harrodsburg were arrested Wednesday night in Danville on drug charges.
According to Assistant Police Chief Tony Gray, Amanda R. Lyons, 24, of 543 Linden Ave. was charged with second offense possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Adam L. Hammack, 20, of 202 Belmont Court faces charges of possession of a prescription controlled substance not in original container, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, drug unspecified.
The arrest occurred at 123 Highland Court after probation officers and parole workers detected marijuana during a home visit about 6:21 p.m.
Lyons and Hammack allegedly granted consent for officer Glenn Doan to search the home about 6:47 p.m. and later gave permission for officer Shane Sellers to search a vehicle at 7 p.m.
